The new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ has arrived

It’s time for some changes and it looks like Samsung is the first company that was willing to do that. The giant tech manufacturer has released its new updated phone, called Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.

It’s obvious that this phone is an upgrade to the previous and probably the most successful phone from Samsung, of course, the Galaxy S6 Edge. This new device comes in a supersize version, although this is probably the most significant difference between it and last April’s model.

The new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ comes with 5.7-inch display, which is bigger compared with the previous 5.1-inch S6 Edge. Moreover, this new model probably shares every single piece of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5’s core hardware specs. However, this model doesn’t have a trademark stylus, an accessory that we have found on Galaxy Note 5. To be added the S6 Edge+ comes with a screen that wraps around on each side and has some interesting menu shortcuts that will allow users to use that side display.

Like other high-end devices from Samsung, for example Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, the new Edge+ comes with a metal-and-glass body that points out its slimness. Unfortunately, like those flagship phones, Edge+ doesn’t have a removable battery or a micoSD card slot. These are the minuses for Samsung since they decided to release compact devices. The main reason for Samsung to release this new updated phone is to offer to its consumers a larger model to the original Galaxy S6 Edge. If the previous phone had so much success, without a doubt customers will be glad to have a larger alternative.

The price for Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge+ is much higher than the cost of Galaxy Note 5, being available at the price of 888 dollars for the 64GB version, while for the 32GB model customers will have to pay 792 dollars. To be added that this phone comes with a 5.7-inch display and 2,560×1,440 pixels, meaning that it features almost 518 pixels per inch. Moreover, it features Samsung Exynos 7 octa-core processor, 4GB or RAM, a 3,000mAh non-removable battery, 16-megapixel rear-facing camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. To be added that users can shoot 4K videos with this camera.
