LG has launched its new phone, called LG G4. This phone comes with a big and bright display, a quick processor and 16-megapixel camera that can shoot both raw file formats and JPEG.
It is pretty simple to notice that LG G4 is a premium phone with high-end features. Probably, this smartphone is also one of LG’s enjoyable handsets to use, due to its welcomed facelift. This device comes with a removable battery, which is considered to be a rarity these days and expandable memory.
Probably, the LG G4 has not changed so much, compared with the previous LG G3, but there a few upgrades that are worth to be mentioned. There is also a new leather-clad option that customers could opt for. Moreover, there is nothing wrong with the fact that the company retained everything that customers liked at the previous model, for example the laser-guided focus feature.
However, there is a problem when the new model doesn’t progress so far compared with the previous phone. So, even if G4 is considered to be a solid device, they will probably lose some ground against its ambitious competitors, including of course the highly successful Samsung.
LG G4 is already available in Korea since April 29, but it will go on sale widely in late May. In the States, T-Mobile and Verizon declared that they will carry the device soon and customers can sign up for a program preview to try the handset out. The device will probably cost 600 dollars off-contract and with a carrier agreement it will cost about 200 dollars. LG also declared that customers will obtain 100GB of Google Drive storage for two years, for free.
The new handset will come with Qualcomm’s 64-bit, hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, clocked at 1.8GHz, 3GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh removable battery. Owners will also get NFC support, 32GB of onboard storage and microSD card slot that will go up to 2TB. On the back of the device, there is placed a 16-megapixel camera and on the front a 8-megapixels camera. LG G4 will come with the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop.
