The Duggars to welcome 20th child in spring
The Duggars are already parents on 19 children and yet, prepare to welcome their 20th child in the spring of next year. The mother, Michelle, who is already three and a half months pregnant, told People Magazine she was very excited.
Michelle and Jim Bob have become the protagonists of their own TV show, “19 Kids and Counting”, for a reason many of you would think as at least bizarre, if not irresponsible. They have many children. And when we say many, we mean that they could have their own kindergarten. After all, 19 is not a number you often hear, when you ask about a family’s offspring. Still, the Duggars think of their family as a miracle and would never think of anything else but bring into the world the baby that was given to them.
Michelle is now 45 years old and is three and a half months pregnant with her 20th baby. The family’s most recent baby is Josie, who is almost 2 years old now. She was born in December 2009 and she kind of rushed into the world, after only 27 weeks in the womb. “Josie is the most energetic, busy little almost-2-year-old”, her parents say. According to them, the little one is doing a very good job keeping up with her oldest siblings. “We are amazed at what she can do”, Michelle told People.
Husband Jim Bob, who is 46, says that his wife’s healthy lifestyle brought her in a better shape than she was 10 years ago. “She has been getting on an elliptical for about an hour a day and is very careful of what she eats.” However, the extra care comes from some medical problems, too. Michelle was diagnosed with preeclampsia, which puts her into the high risk pregnancy category. This delivery will be totally different from the 19 before, as she will undergo a cesarean section for the first time.
