Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris separated earlier this month. The reason of the separation has been widely debated so far, even though the two musicians have not revealed why they decided to end their relationship. Now, a new report indicates that Taylor was the one who ended the romance and she actually did this through a quick and vague phone call.
The news was reported by TMZ, which claimed that Taylor dumped Calvin Harris via phone, only a few days after the popular DJ got involved in a car accident. So, some sources talking to TMZ claimed that Taylor called Calvin from Nashville, while he was recovering from the accident. The sources said that Taylor simply told her boyfriend that she needed some space.
As imagined, Calvin was not happy at all with this phone call. Actually, insiders said that he was stunned and mad. TMZ also claimed that since this phone conversation, Taylor and Calvin have not spoken to each other. Apparently, Taylor has used her experience to decide how to dump Calvin, as she has previously been dumped the same way by Joe Jonas.
Well, maybe the TMZ report was not true after all, as other sources have previously claimed that Taylor has flew to Los Angeles following the car crash, to be there for Calvin. Furthermore, some sources said that Taylor would have never done this to Calvin, as she has been through such a breakup and she knows exactly how it feels.
Taylor Swift revealed back in 2008 that her boyfriend of that time separated from her during a 27-second phone call. “It’s all right – I’m cool. You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18,” Taylor revealed during an interview at that time. Joe Jonas denied that he just broke up with Taylor and immediately ended the phone call.
