Rachel McAdams Accuses James Toback of Sexual Harassment

Famous actress Rachel McAdams has joined the list of women accusing James Toback of sexual harassment. The famous actress revealed that she was 21 when it happened. According to Rachel, everything happened in a Toronto hotel.

The actress revealed that she was supposed to be there for an audition. However, when she arrived Toback asked her to sit on the floor. “Pretty quickly the conversation turned quite sexual and he said, ‘You know, I just have to tell you. I have masturbated countless times today thinking about you since we met at your audition,'” the actress revealed.

Rachel also said that Toback tried to manipulate her using some questions about her and her career. “How brave are you? How far you are willing to go as an actress? I want to build some intimacy between us because we have to have a very trusting relationship and this is a very difficult part,” he allegedly told her.

Rachel said that she actually was shocked when Toback asked her if he could see her pubic hair. “I just jerked off in the bathroom thinking about you. Will you show me your pubic hair?” she said Toback told her after leaving her alone in the room for a short period of time. The star of course said no. The actress managed to leave the room soon after. “I was very lucky that I left and he didn’t actually physically assault me in any way,” the actress claimed.

However, the time spent in his presence was as difficult as possible. “I felt like I was there forever. This has been such a source of shame for me—that I didn’t have the wherewithal to get up and leave. I kept thinking, ‘This is going to become normal any minute now. This is going to all make sense. This is all above board somehow.’ Eventually I just realized that it wasn’t,” she concluded.

Rachel also said that she never went through such an experience again. She also claimed that she was very naïve and didn’t realize that things could have gotten very bad for her. She also revealed that she couldn’t sleep after this experience.

Selma Blair Talks about James Toback Sexual Harassment

Without a doubt, Hollywood was shaken once again by a new sexual abuse scandal. This time, the film-maker targeted by the allegations is James Toback. And some very famous actresses have raised allegations against him. Among those actresses is Selma Blair, who actually made a shocking statement. The star claimed that Toback threatened to kill her.

Selma revealed during an interview with Vanity Fair that it all happened in 1999. Toback sexually harassed the star and then threatened that he would kill her if she would reveal what happened. Selma said that she just had to speak about what happened to her.

“When he called these women liars, and said he didn’t recall meeting them and that the behavior alleged could not be attributed to him, I just felt rage and an obligation to speak publicly now,” she said. Her statement comes in response to Toback’s claims that he never met or briefly discussed with the several women who accused him of sexual harassment.

Selma said that she had a meeting with Toback to talk about the movie Harvard Man. Selma said that Toback did not come to the meeting, but a hostess told her that he was expecting her in his hotel room. “Against my better judgement, I went upstairs,” the star said. She claimed that he asked her to take her clothes off and to have sex with him. She refused, but Toback asked her to let him please himself in front of her.

“He walked me back to the bed. He sat me down. He got on his knees. And he continued to press so hard against my leg. He was greasy and I had to look into those big brown eyes. I tried to look away, but he would hold my face. So I was forced to look into his eyes. And I felt disgust and shame, and like nobody would ever think of me as being clean again after being this close to the devil. His energy was so sinister,” she said.

Selma went on to say that he made a very serious threat against her. He told her about the story of a girl who went “against” him. He said that “if she ever tells anybody, no matter how much time she thinks went by, I have people who will pull up in a car, kidnap her and throw her in the Hudson river with cement blocks on her feet. You understand what I’m talking about, right?” Selma said Toback told her.

Toback was accused by no less than 200 women of sexual harassment. The scandal broke after allegations of sexual harassment also targeted Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. The whole scandal involving Toback emerged after the Los Angeles Times published a report including the testimony of 38 women who revealed that Toback sexually harassed them. The film-marker is now 72 years old. Toback denied all the allegations.
