Olivia Munn Accuses Brett Ratner of Sexual Harassment

Famous actress Olivia Munn is among the women who have accused Hollywood producer Brett Ratner of sexual harassment. Olivia talked to the Los Angeles Times about her experience involving the filmmaker. Olivia claimed that her first bad encounter with Ratner dates back to 2004 when she was early in her acting career.

Olivia said that she was on the set of After the Sunset, when she went to deliver Ratner a meal in his trailer. However, Olivia did not know what Ratner was going to do. She said that he started to masturbate in front of her. Actually, this is not the first time when Olivia talks about this incident. The star opened up about her experience in her essay collection, released in 2010. However, she did not reveal the name of the director at that time.

Well, unfortunately for Olivia, this was not the only encounter that she had with Ratner. She said that she ran into him at an event in 2010, and he actually told her that he ejaculated on magazine covers featuring her image. “It feels as if I keep going up against the same bully at school who just won’t quit,” the actress said. “You just hope that enough people believe the truth and for enough time to pass so that you can’t be connected to him anymore,” she went on to add.

Given her experience involving Ratner, Olivia decided that she was not going to work with him again. “I’ve made specific, conscientious choices not to work with Brett Ratner.” Five other women also accused him of sexual harassment. One of these women said that Ratner forced her to perform oral sex on him.

Ratner denied all the claims made by these women. “I have represented Mr. Ratner for two decades, and no woman has ever made a claim against him for sexual misconduct or sexual harassment,” his lawyer said. “Furthermore, no woman has ever requested or received any financial settlement from my client,” the same statement added.

Several Women Accuse Brett Ratner of Sexual Abuse

Another Hollywood producer has created a lot of headlines for all the wrong reasons. Filmmaker Brett Ratner was accused by six women of sexual abuse. The six women talked about what happened to them during an interview with the Los Angeles Times.

One of these women, Natasha Henstridge, said that Ratner actually forced her to perform oral sex. The model said that she was 19 when it all happened. She attended an event at his apartment with some friends and fell asleep. The model and actress said that when she woke up all her friends had left and she remained alone with Ratner. She said she wanted to leave, but he blocked the doorway, started touching himself and forced her to perform oral sex.

“He strong-armed me in a real way. He physically forced himself on me,” the actress said. “At some point, I gave in and he did his thing,” she added. Ratner was in his 20s when it happened, in the 1990s. Natasha also said that she always carried the memory of this event and had to watch him become one of the most powerful men in Hollywood. He denied the claim. A lawyer for Ratner said that no women have accused him of such severe allegations and he never entered settlements on similar claims with any women.

Another woman who accused Ratner, Jamie Ray Newman, said that she met him in 2005 during an Air Canada flight. She said that Ratner changed seats with his assistant to be able to stay close to her. The actress said that after the plane took off, Ratner started to loudly and explicitly tell her about the sex acts that he wanted to perform on her. The actress said that he also showed her nude photos of his girlfriend of that time. “He was graphically describing giving me oral sex and how he was addicted to it,” she said.

The actress also claimed that she told her close ones about the incident because she was extremely shocked. Ratner’s attorney also denied this claim and said that the incident never occurred.
