Sylvester Stallone Said Son’s Death Is Horrible

Not even a month ago, Sylvester Stallone and his family were struck with horrific news, as the star’s 36-year-old son died. In a pretaped interview with “Good Morning America” Sylvester Stallone said his son’s death is horrible and tough.

July 13th, Sage was found dead in his home in Los Angeles by his housekeeper. Sage was Sylvester Stallone eldest son of the five children he has. Authorities don’t suspect foul play was involved, but there’s still no confirmed cause of death. For the first time since his son’s death, Sylvester Stallone opened up about the horrible situation.

“It’s tough. It’s very, very tough, but if you have good friend and family support…it’s a horrible situation but time will hopefully heal and you try to get through it, but it’s just something” Sylvester Stallone said in his interview for “Good Morning America”. “It’s a reality of life” the star of “The Expendables” concluded.

“I think it’s important to get back and start reliving your life. Otherwise, you can go into a spiral” said the 66-year-old movie star. And he is attempting to do just that, as he started work on “The Expendables 2” along with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren Jason Statham, Chuck Norris, Jet Li, Bruce Willis and Liam Hemsworth.

“The Expendables 2” featuring all your childhood’s action heroes is set to premiere this Friday in U.S. theatres. “It’s so rare to be able to get the old team together” said Sylvester Stallone of the impressive cast of “The Expendables” sequel. “It’s like having a great team. When that combination works it’s so rare and you just don’t want to let it go” he added.

In the same interview for “Good Morning America”, Arnold Schwarzenegger said: “It was great to be back because the spotlight was not on me. I was very appreciative that Sly was interested in having me in the movie”.

The 65-year-old actor joked the rest of the cast was worried after “being eight years out of the game” he might “not know how to hold a gun anymore”. “Stallone was coming over, saying, ‘Here’s how you hold it’” added Schwarzenegger. “He was aiming at himself” added Stallone.
