Apparently, the cops were called at Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach house, after some shots were fired at the scene. The cops are investigating the incident, although they claimed that it might have been just a hoax, as no evidence was found at the scene.
The whole case started with a call, which announced the police of some gunshots outside a home in Biscayne Bay. The cops soon arrived at the scene of the alleged incident, but stated that they have “not made contact with anyone nor identified any victims.” The cops did not confirm that the property belonged to Lil Wayne, either, although several reports confirmed this hypothesis.
However, fans of the famous rapper have nothing to worry about, as Lil Wayne actually was not at home when the incident occurred. “Wayne is okay. Wasn’t home during alleged events,” a statement said. Well, it seems that at least this time, Lil Wayne was not involved in a scandal.
However, the famous rapper is well known for his problems with the law. Lil Wayne was been jailed for no less than 8 months, for illegal weapons possession, back in 2010. In 2012, the rapper agreed to pay $7.7 million in back taxes, to prevent the Internal Revenue Service from seizing his Miami Beach mansion.
A rep for the police’s department claimed that the call to announce the incident was made on the company’s non-emergency number. The person who made the call claimed that no less than four people were killed inside the home. The caller did not claim that the property belonged to Lil Wayne. However, the cops found no victims at the scene.
TMZ reported that the claims came after only 11 days since the cops arrived to the property on a report of a suspicious person lurking outside the home. The cops did nothing, as when they arrived at the scene, the man was on public property. It is yet to see if everything was just a bad joke or something really happened in the area. Hopefully, Lil Wayne will not get involved in other scandals, as the star seems to be staying away from trouble now.
