Despite what everyone may believe, Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth are not actually married. So, the wedding ceremony that was shared by the star on the Internet is not legally valid. The fact that the two stars are not really married was confirmed by the Clark County Nevada.
It surely seems that Shia and Mia only made it look like they were getting married. Shia LaBeouf was said to have married Mia Goth in Las Vegas earlier this week. The ceremony seemed very simple, the pair being wedded by an Elvis impersonator. However, it seems that the famous couple did not have a marriage license, so the union is not valid in the eyes of the law.
“Our records show no marriage license for Shia LaBeouf & Mia Goth. A commitment ceremony was performed #Vegas,” the Clark County Nevada said in a Twitter post. If the commitment ceremony really took place has not been confirmed for now. Also, it remains unclear why the actor decided to mislead all his fans into thinking that he and Mia were a married couple.
In a video shared online, the actor seemed really nervous and the ceremony appeared to be emotional for Shia. “With this ring; I thee wed; With a prayer; that our love grows stronger; through the passing years. And I’ll do whatever you ask me to do,” the actor told his bride. “I give you this ring; as a token and pledge; of our vows to each other; praying that our love; shall never fade. And I’m pretty much going to do whatever I want,” Mia said.
Shia and Mia made some other promises to each other, such as to be one another’s “teddy bear.” So, what was the meaning of the ceremony and why the pair made it seem like they were getting married remains unknown. However, some have claimed that the actor has done so only for the media attention. Shia LaBeouf is said to be famous for his attention-grabbing stunts and this ceremony could only be one of them.
