Selena Gomez has surely grown and it seems that the star is not afraid to show some skin. The young singer posed for a sexy photo shot for V94 Magazine and opened up about the much debated romance with Justin Bieber. It definitely seems that things are over for good between the two.
Interviewed by James Franco, Selena claimed that Justin Bieber was her first love. “The older I get, I’m guarding certain things more. After being put through the scrutiny, I understand what it is.” The star went on to say that when being in a relationship with Justin, so many people talked about it that “it almost felt like all we had was each other, like the world was against us, in a way.” “It was really weird but it was incredible. I would never take it back in a million years. You live and you learn, you know?”
Although this relationship caused the beautiful singer a lot of pain, Selena claimed that she has no regrets. Moreover, the actress explained that the pressure coming from the media has made things even more difficult for her, following the separation. In fact, she was close to developing a depression. “There were a few months where I was a little depressed, where I wouldn’t leave [the house] as much,” she said.
“I think I drove myself crazy for a little bit. It was just easier to say, ‘Hey, do you mind running to the grocery store and picking some stuff up, I don’t want to get photographed,'” the star also explained. However, Selena is now ready to move on from this relationship and she actually is mature enough to realize that she learned something from this experience. The young singer claimed that she is absolutely certain that she will have a great year in 2015.
Selena said that this year will be “incredible for her,” but she did not reveal if she is currently seeing someone or she plans on taking some time off from dating. Selena Gomez was rumored to be dating DJ Zedd, but the rumors were not confirmed.
“You can’t help but have some troubles here and there. I don’t think it’s a smooth process for anyone,” Selena concluded.
