Famous actress Angelina Jolie claims that security doesn’t have to be increased after the attack on Brad Pitt. According to the famous actress, most fans are just wonderful.
The incident in cause is the one involving famous actor Brad Pitt and a Ukrainian reporter. The star was attacked on the red carper by the Ukrainian reporter, VItalii Sediuk, who punched the star in the face. The incident occurred as Brad Pitt was attending the premiere of the movie Maleficent.
Despite the events, Angelina Jolie says that there is no need to increase security when it comes to the attendance at such public events. The star claims that this was just an unfortunate situation. “People like that are the exception to the rule,” the actress said. “Most fans are just wonderful. We’ve had a wonderful experience over the years, and we’re very grateful for their support, and it will not change the way we behave,” she went on to add.
Moreover, Angelina Jolie is very happy with the way her husband behaved during the incident. She claimed that Pitt is a very strong man, who managed the situation perfectly. However, Angelina is not the only one who talked about the events. Pitt also decided to go public about this situation.
“I don’t mind an exhibitionist,” Brad Pitt said. “But if this guy keeps it up he’s going to spoil it for the fans who have waited up all night for an autograph or a selfie, because it will make people more wary to approach a crowd,” the famous actor continued.
After the event, Brad Pitt seemed really relaxed, as the actor continued to smile, while giving autographs to the fans. The attacker, Sediuk, was arrested for battery following this attack. Already, a sentence was issued for Sediuk, who will remain on probation for three years. He will also have to complete 20 days of community labor and a year of psychological counseling.
This is not the first time when Sediuk is involved in such an incident. However, this is the first time when he acted in violence. Sediuk is a well-known name in the celebrity world, making many appearances on the red carpet, playing pranks on stars.
