The controversial claim former Miss Pennsylvania, Sheena Monnin made about Miss USA being rigged is now finally getting some support. A second Miss USA contestant says Trump pageant is rigged.
Foxnews.com published earlier this week an exclusive material about a second Miss USA contestant that was claiming the pageant was rigged. The woman wanted to remain anonymous, but she backed up Miss Pennsylvania’s story. According to her, Miss Florida knew four of the five names that became the top 5 girls in the contest.
“I saw Florida backstage and she was very, very flustered and upset” explains the second Miss USA contestant to accuse the pageant of inappropriate voting. “I thought it might be because she didn’t make the top 15 cut, but at that point she was able to reveal to me at least four of the five names who went on to be the top girls” recalled the woman. Apparently, Miss Florida couldn’t remember the fifth name on the list because she was so upset but “several of the girls then started hearing through the grapevine about a list; a lot of people were upset”.
The story is very similar to what Miss Pennsylvania, Sheena Monnin, wrote on Facebook shortly after Miss USA ended. Last Friday, Monnin was invited to talk on “Today” and she explained “an injustice has been done, not only to the other people who were not in the top five, but to the thousands of pageant girls across the country who competed”.
However, many of the contestants in Miss USA stand by Donald Trump and claim Sheena Monnin is just a sore loser. In fact, the newly crowned Miss USA, Olivia Culpo said on “Good Morning America” earlier this week: “It was just a silly little piece of poor sportsmanship. America watched the pageant. I think that you can watch and judge for yourself who is deserving of the title”.
Last Wednesday, Donald Trump reacted to Sheena Monnin’s allegations and announced Miss USA will take the matter to court. “She lost and if you look at her compared to the people who were in the top 15, you would understand why she’s not in the top 15” said Trump on “Good Morning America” last week.
