Demi Moore was in the media’s attention lately due to her divorce from actor Ashton Kutcher and her health problems. Now it is time for her daughter with Bruce Willis, Scout Willis, to get in the spotlight. The 20-year-old girl was arrested in New York on Monday because she used a fake ID and consumed beer in the public, says Access Hollywood.
Scout Willis has always been described as a careful daughter who was next to her mom, Demi Moore, when she needed support after the divorce. The latest news comes to contradict what has been known so far because the 20-year-old daughter was arrested on Monday afternoon in New York.
According to the statement of the New York Police Department, Scout was in Union Square when officers requested her to show her ID. The aspiring singer confessed that the document is not real and that her name is not really Katherine Kelly. The 20-year-old girl was accused of two misdemeanors, that is, criminal impersonation and a violation of the open-container law. According to police officers, the woman was not allowed to consume beer because she was underage and because she was in a public space. Luckily, Scout can always count on her rich parents and so, she was released on bail Tuesday morning.
No other details have been provided by the family’s reps. Scout Willis will soon return to the Brown University in Providence, R.I. to prepare her musical career. Her most recent performance was in March when she joined the band Gus as a vocalist. The concert was held in New York at Rockwood Music Hall.
Her elder sister, Rumer Willis, who is 23, has already established herself as a musician. She has performed on numerous occasions at various locations in Los Angeles. Her stepdad, Ashton Kutcher has always supported Rumer’s musical inclinations.
Scout Willis is expected to make her first appearance at the Manhattan Criminal Court on the 31st of July. It remains to be seen whether she will be obliged to perform community service hours or judges will find a different penalty for her.
