Famous Today anchor Savannah Guthrie has welcomed her baby daughter. The star gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Wednesday. Savannah also decided to reveal the name of her child, Vale Guthrie Feldman.
This is the first child for both Savannah and her husband Mike Feldman. The two are extremely happy to be parents. Savannah shared the news herself, posting a message on social media. “My 3am wake up call sounds a lot different now. Sweeter.,” the star posted on her Twitter profile. Mike Feldman retweeted the post and added “but this sound is like music to my ears.”
E! News reported that the baby weighed 8.5 pounds and measured 19.5 inches. Mike was by Savannah’s side during the entire time when they welcomed their baby daughter. The happy mom shared the fact that her baby has blue eyes and a little bit of blondish hair.
Savannah Guthrie announced the pregnancy news back in March. She actually revealed the happy news on air, at her famous show. When she made the revelation that she will become a mom, she also shared the fact that she and her husband had gotten married. The couple wedded on March 14, in Tucson, Arizona.
Savannah informed her co-anchor on the process, texting Matt Lauer about the happy time. Actually, the first picture of the beautiful baby girl was shared on Today show, on Thursday.
Savannah had been quite opened about the fact that she wanted to become a mom. In fact, she shared that on her Today baby blog earlier this year. “I’m 42 years old, and I honestly didn’t know if I’d ever get this chance. I’ve never been more thankful, or felt more blessed from above. I know how lucky I am. For a long time, I think I was afraid to even let myself think about how much I hoped to one day have a baby,” her post said.
Well, congrats are in order for Savannah Guthrie and Mike Feldman for this beautiful new addition to their family. Vale Guthrie Feldman was born around 3.00 a.m. August 13th.
