Although she previously denied any intention of becoming a mom for the second time, it now seems that all the rumors were true after all. The famous actress has adopted a baby girl. So, Sandra Bullock has become a mom for the second time.
Sandra opened up about the new addition to the family in an interview with People magazine. The star actually adopted a 3-year old girl from foster care in Louisiana. Sandra also revealed the name of her daughter, Laila. The star and her two children were featured in People’s latest issue. Sandra already has a son, Louis, whom she also adopted.
Well, Sandra seemed to be really happy and the star is without a doubt a great mom. “When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here,” the actress said during her interview with People. “I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time,” the beautiful star went on to add.
Sandra also went to say that the adoption decision did not happen over night. Actually, the whole process started no less than three years ago. Louis wanted a sister and this is how Laila came into the family. “I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere,” Sandra explained. The star went on to add that now her house is filed with “pink and glitter” “mixed with Legos and Batmans.”
“My family is blended and diverse, nutty, and loving and understanding,” Sandra said. “That’s a family,” the star concluded. Well, it seems that until Laila came into the family, Sandra wanted the whole story to remain private. Probably, this is the reason why the star denied some reports that emerged back in October, indicating that she was willing to adopt a child.
Well, maybe the adoption wasn’t completed at that moment, so the actress wanted to wait to make sure that everything will be fine. “There is only one adopted child in my household and his name is Louis,” Sandra said at that moment.
