Actress Salma Hayek talks in an interview to Redbook about how her life changed since she married French billionaire Francois Henri Pinault. Although she likes to be her own master and work hard, she says that it is nice to know that if in trouble, she’s got a safety net.
Salma Hayek is a self-accomplished lady, who takes care of her own bills although the family of her husband is worth over $11 billion. The French husband, Francois Henri Pinault and Hayek have a daughter named Valentina. She is four years old.
In a recent interview for Redbook, the actress talked about her views on the financial side of her life. She likes to work hard and be able to support herself, ensuring she is financially independent. “I don’t ever want to have to depend on anyone completely”.
On the other hand though, being married to the CEO of Pinault-Printemps-Redoute has its advantages as its always nice to know that if trouble comes along she has someone to turn to.
Even though, Pinault is a fashion magnate, Hayek remains true to her own style and its Mexican influences. “I like to play fashion with him, but I’m nobody’s Barbie”.
The 44-year-old actress isn’t taken down by getting old, on the contrary. Salma embraces her stage in life, declaring herself thrilled about it.
On her recent interview, Hayek also chatted about her success coming a bit late in life than in other cases. For the actress achieving the peak of her career as a late bloomer feels great since success is a tricky business and reaching it can happen at any point in one’s life.
Looking at the future, Salma is expecting more changes in her life. Just like success, discovering a new side of oneself or finding love can happen at any time, as well as in ones 40s or 50s. The important part is to keep believing that exciting turns are going to show up just around the corner.
Salma stared in movies like: “Desperado”, “Fair Game”, “Wild Wild West”, “Traffic”, “Frida”, “Puss in Boots”.
