A Radar Online report has managed to cause a new controversy regarding famous pop singer Michael Jackson. Radar Online released some police reports indicating that officials have found several picture books, magazines and videos showing nude and semi-nude images of children. This reportedly happened during a raid that took place back in 2003, at the Neverland Ranch.
Radar Online’s report cited a private investigator who was familiar with these raids. The insider claimed that Michael even had sexy photos of his nephews. However, the claims were immediately dismissed by Michael’s estate, which released a statement in response to the report.
“Seven years ago this coming Saturday, the world lost an amazing artist and humanitarian devoted to helping children in need in all corners of the world. Michael Jackson’s fans, including the Executors of his estate, prefer to remember the wonderful gifts Michael left behind instead of having to once again see his good name dragged through the mud by tabloid trash,” the statement said.
It went on to add that the whole report was false and the timing of its release proves that. The report was released near the anniversary of the famous singer’s passing. “Those who continue to shamelessly exploit Michael via sleazy internet ‘click bait’ ignore that he was acquitted by a jury in 2005 on every one of the 14 salacious charges brought against him in a failed witch hunt,” the same statement added.
A statement was also released by Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department, which claimed that the office has released no documents or photographs to the media. “The documents with a header titled Sheriff’s Department that contain a case number appear to be Sheriff’s Office documents. The photos that are interspersed appear to be some evidentiary photos taken by Sheriff’s investigators and others are clearly obtained from the Internet,” the statement said.
One of Michael’s nephews already dismissed the claims on social media, saying that he will sue the tabloid for making such claims. Michael Jackson has been dealing with child abuse allegations for years and although he had been acquitted, the comments have never really stopped.
