Famous actress Renee Zellweger decided to talk about the rumors that have been linked to her new looks. Actually, starting with 2014 a series of rumors have indicated that she underwent plastic surgery and this is the reason why she looks completely different. Ever since that moment, speculation has remained on regarding the talented actress.
Renee has previously dismissed the plastic surgery claims and it seems that the star continues to refuse to admit she underwent such a procedure. Renee wrote an essay for The Huffington Post in which she claimed that the plastic surgery rumors are not true.
“I am lucky. Choosing a creative life and having the opportunity to do satisfying work that is sometimes meaningful is a blessed existence and worth the price paid in the subsequent challenges of public life,” Renee shared in her essay. “Sometimes it means resigning to humiliation, and other times, understanding when silence perpetuates a bigger problem,” she went on to add.
So, Renee managed to shock and to cause a lot of headlines back in 2014. She made then an appearance on the red carpet after quite some time, at the Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration. All publications which covered the story claimed that Renee was actually unrecognizable, as she looked completely different.
“In October 2014, a tabloid newspaper article reported that I’d likely had surgery to alter my eyes. It didn’t matter; just one more story in the massive smut pile generated every day by the tabloid press and fueled by exploitative headlines and folks who practice cowardly cruelty from their anonymous internet pulpits,” Renee claimed.
Renee went on to say that she did nothing to “alter my face and have surgery on my eyes.” Renee also claimed that everyone should focus on what really matters and stop judging people by their looks. She also claimed that women have always been “measured” by their appearance.
Well, the fact is that Renee does look different than the way she looked years back. However, the star claimed that this is just the process of aging.
