Rapper Too Short is not dead, dammit!

Rapper Too Short wants to put an end to the rumors that he is dead. “I am not dead, dammit!” he recently tweeted. TMZ has spoken on the phone with he and he is very irritated by the prank.

Since rumors started on Twitter that rapper Too Short is dead, the hip-hop musician’s life has changed … for the worse. According to an article posted on TMZ, he insists that he is not dead.

The news appeared online today, stating that the musician had suffered a heart attack and that he passed away. Some people even tried to upload the new information on his Wikipedia page. But in the past hours, it was revealed that it was all a prank. It wasn’t very hard to do that either, as terrified friends and acquaintances started calling him to see what had happened. They were relieved to hear his voice on the other end of the line. But relief was not something he felt, too. Recently he tweeted:
“Stop calling my phone. I’m not dead.”

Well, metaphorically, we could consider him dead…Dead for the world who is not a part of his recording studio. The rapper added that he had been “in the lab” working on his latest album – which, by the way, will be his 19th.
Too Short (real name: Todd Anthony Shaw) has been in the music business for 30 years now (he started his career at the age of 14). He had his first release in the mid-80s: “Don’t Stop Rappin’”. In 2005, together with Freddie B , he founded Dangerous Music.  They changed the label name several times, until they called it Up All Nite Records.  Along the years, he has worked with big names in the music industry, such as Tupac, Notorious B.I.G. and Scarface.

Oh, yeah and … he is not dead!
