Punk’d Is Back! Will It Be Any Good Without Ashton?

There’s nothing that a fan likes more than seeing his or her favorite celebrity being pranked. Or Punk’d for that matter. The show Ashton Kutcher made popular is now back. Starting March 29th, Punk’d is once again targeting unsuspecting celebrities. But without Ashton will the new Punk’d be any good?

The rumor has been around for several months now. But since Ashton Kutcher is quite busy with shootings for “Two and a Half Men”, producers had to find someone just as loveable. And Ashton’s shoes are big to fill, that’s why MTV went for several hosts featuring teenagers’ most popular idols: Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

But what Ashton Kutcher managed by himself, the new season of Punk’d comes with several hosts. Yes, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus aren’t at it alone. Joining them are Hayden Panettiere and Dax Shepard, who let’s put it this way: graduated from Punk’d under the best professor ever.

The new season features Justin Bierber, Miley Cyrus, Hayden Panettiere and Dax Shepard going after celebrities such as Liam Hemsworth, Khloe Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and Dianna Agron. Ron Artest, Lauren Conrad, Zac Efron, Ian Harding, Chloe Moretz, Emma Roberts and Vanessa Hudgens are also on the list of “unsuspecting” victims. And let’s not forget Ronnie and Snooki, who will probably meltdown when Punk’d by Justin Bieber.

And to make it even harder to compare the new Punk’d with the Ashton Kutcher version, producers have announced that the new show will bring a lot more complex pranks. Plus, viewers will get to see all sort of behind the scenes footages which should make the show a little bit more interesting to watch.

As MTV.com writes, “get ready for some real outrageously fun moments that you wouldn’t expect from your favorite stars!”. The show will be taken “to a whole new level this season, with more complex, hilarious and fun pranks than ever before”.

The first show airs March 29th at 10 p.m. on MTV. Expect to see Hayden Panettiere, Dax Shepard, Lucy Hale, Nick Cannon and Heather Morris putting their star friends through misery with their twisted pranks.

It will be good because it has Hayden Panettiere in it. She makes everything good. :)
