Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to wed, at least this is what the latest rumors seem to be indicating. And it seems that now the location of the ceremony has been revealed. It has been claimed that the famous couple was given permission to marry at Westminster Abbey. Without a doubt, this would be one of the most expected events of the year, if the rumors will turn out being true.
If Meghan and Harry would receive permission to wed at Westminster Abbey was under discussion, considering that Meghan is currently divorced. The fact that the Abbey could be the location for the wedding was reportedly confirmed by a spokesperson for the church, the Express reported.
“The Abbey follows the General Synod Ruling of 2002,” the spokesperson said, adding that since then “it has been possible for divorced people to be married in the Church of England.” The spokesperson reportedly said that although Meghan has a Jewish background there is absolutely no issue for her to marry Harry.
However, if the marriage will really happen or not is something that has not been revealed until now. Speculation on a possible union has been on for quite some time. Harry and Meghan have been dating for several months and it definitely seems that things are going great between the two. They officially confirmed their relationship soon after starting dating and have been seen together on various occasions.
So, if the two will wed, this will be the second marriage for Meghan. The famous Suits actress has previously been married to TV producer Trevor Engelson. The two started dating in 2004 and wedded in 2011. However, the marriage did not last and the two separated after only two years, in 2013.
