Parrot Releases Parrot Minikit Neo 2 HD

It’s been approximately three years since Parrot has unveiled its previous generation of Minikit Neo Bluetooth car kit. Well, it looks like these days the company has released the newest Minikit Neo 2 HD. If we put these two devices side by side, we will notice that their design hasn’t changed over the years.

However, the details have been refined to the new Parrot Minikit Neo 2 HD, but that may be all. Probably, the main visual change is the bolder plastic visor clip that comes in different colors for example green hues, black, blue and red. To be said that new clip is slightly larger and more flexible than the previous model.

The central control know hasn’t change at all and is the primary point of interaction with the new device. This knob can be tapped and rotated by users with the purpose to navigate the Parrot Minikit Neo 2 HD’ spoken menus. To be mentioned that it is also flanked by red and green LEDs that indicate different functions.

Bellow the knob, users will see the Parrot microphone, while the surface area is occupied by a flat-panel speaker. This new kit comes with a few audio quality updates. On one edge there is a located a power toggle switch, while on the other edge there is the Micro-USB port. 

The new Parrot Minikit Neo 2 HD comes with a 1,000mAh lithium Ion battery. The company declared that this battery can last up to 10-hour talk time and approximately six-month standby time. With this amount of battery life, users will probably be able to let the Neo 2 HD powered on for at least one week. 

Parrot Minikit Neo 2 HD also comes with a small 12-volt USB charger and an USB charging cable. To be said that Neo 2 HD can be connected to a host phone via a Bluetooth v.4.0 connection. It also supports hands-free calling profile, which is a great thing. The Bluetooth tech supports HD Voice and simultaneous connection to two devices. The HD Voice quality is very useful, because it help callers to hear better, especially when there is wind noise.
