A new rumor has emerged in the world of celebrities. According to the latest reports, the young daughter of late singer Michael Jackson is believed to have gotten married.
Paris Jackson is only 17 years old. The rumors emerged after Paris decided to change her last name on Instagram, using now the last name of her boyfriend, Chester Castellaw.
Well, despite the rumors, some insiders claimed that although Paris changed her name, she is not legally married. To be able to do that, she would need the consent of her grandmother and her cousin, who are her legal guardians.
Paris is minor, so Katherine or TJ Jackson’s consent would be mandatory. However, other sources revealed that although she is not able yet to wed Chester now, Paris plans on doing so next April.
So, Radar Online sources claimed that Paris will walk down the aisle once she turns 18. When it comes to her family’s opinion regarding her plans, it seems that they just want Paris to sign a prenup. Apparently, her family is preoccupied with Michael’s legacy. The famous singer left for his children a $2 billion legacy. “That’s Michael Jackson’s legacy and there’s no way they want any part of it at risk,” a source revealed.
Of course, the family is also worried about Paris and her intentions to wed while being so young. Insiders said that they are particularly concerned given Paris’s fragile mental state. “It’s a dilemma. Family members want Paris to get going on her prenup, but they’re walking on eggshells,” the insiders said. Of course, they need to be careful not to pressure the teenage Paris too much. “They don’t want to get her angry or, worse, have her cut them off,” the source explained.
Well, opinions might be shared in the big Jackson family. So, at least TJ seems to be supportive of the relationship. He previously stated that Chester is a good boy, “so I approve of him.” TJ went on to add that Paris is happy with him and that he treats her well. However, TJ claimed that he keeps “a close eye on him.” It is yet to see if the rumors will be officially confirmed.
