Pamela Anderson has finally managed to overcome a disease she had been suffering from for years. The famous actress revealed through a social media post that she cured her hepatitis C. Pamela had suffered from this condition for no less than 16 years.
Well, the star was so excited with the happy news that she actually decided to share a photo of herself with the message. Pamela was completely naked in the pic she shared on Instagram. Pamela was quite careful in covering up her nipples with her hands, making sure that she will not violate the social media’s policy when it comes to nude pictures.
“I am CURED,” Pamela posted in the caption of the photo. “I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live,” the 48-year old actress went on to say. Pamela also revealed that she underwent a special treatment that helped her. The star admitted that this treatment is not widely available, but she claimed that she is praying for everyone who suffers from this disease to be able to overcome it.
“I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment. It will be more available soon. I know treatment is hard to get still,” Pamela’s message said. Without a doubt, Pamela looked amazingly happy in the photo and she has a very important reason for that.
Pamela Anderson revealed for the first time that she was suffering from hepatitis C back in 2002. The star said that she developed the disease after sharing a tattoo needle with her former husband Tommy Lee. Pamela has previously said that she had started a treatment with a new FDA-approved drug, which was powerful enough to kill the virus.
Ever since she made the revelation, Pamela said that if the treatment will be successful, she will become hepatitis C free in only one month. Well, it seems that the treatment was successful for the star. The actress revealed that there were no complications developed in her case. “I don’t have any liver damage and I don’t have any side effects,” the star said. “I’m living my life the way I want to, but it could have eventually have caused me some problems, and so it was a real blessing that I was able to get the medicine. I’m half way there,” she concluded.
