OnePlus X will be released in November

It had passed approximately three months since OnePlus has unveiled its new high-end device called OnePlus 2. Well, it looks like the Chinese-based mobile manufacturer has some new surprises for its clients. What surprises? More specifically, a new smartphone, called OnePlus X.

The new product was unveiled during a London press event. The new device is cheaper and smaller compared with the OnePlus 2 released earlier this year. Moreover, the new OnePlus X is considered to be the company’s mid-tier option, because OnePlus has now three devices on the market.

Like all their devices, the new OnePlus X will be available by invite only. Customers will be able to buy the new product at the price of 249 dollars and it will be available on November 19. Moreover, a special Ceramic edition will be released in Europe on November 24 and it will cost £269.

However, the new OnePlus X comes with an elegant design with glass panels on the back and front, and a metal trim. Unfortunately, the materials from which the device is manufactured makes it a little bit slippery, but this happens all the time which glass-clad devices. OnePlus X will come in two versions. The first version will be in Onyx, while the second version will be more expensive and it will be made from Ceramic. To be mentioned that the Ceramic version will only have 10,000 units.

Probably, customers will prefer the Onyx version, because the smoothness of the glass offers a better feeling and it is more comfortable. Compared with OnePlus 2, the new OnePlus X also comes with a physical button that can be used to turn on and off notifications and sounds. As for hardware, these devices hide under the hood a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage that can be raised up to 128GB with a microSD card.

Other interesting features are a 2,525mAh non-removable battery and a Micro-USB port for charging and transferring files. The new OnePlus X also has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera that has the ability to record up to 1080 HD videos, while in the front there is a 7.6-megapixel camera.
