Pop singer Nicole Scherzinger desperately tried to stay in shape at the beginning of her career. The former Pussycat Doll was one step away from developing eating disorders, In Shape magazine reports.
The X-Factor judge confessed during the interview that she no longer keeps a diet now. On the contrary, the Pussycat Dolls singer eats pretty much everything she wants without worrying that she might gain a few extra pounds. Nicole is aware that eating at least three meals a day is extremely important if you want to remain healthy. As a consequence, the 33-year-old star never skips a meal even though her schedule is very busy.
Nicole also revealed her day to day eating habits. She told reporters that she usually eats soft-boiled eggs, smoked salmon, and whole-wheat toast for breakfast because these ingredients give her enough energy for the entire day. The second meal of the day is a lot lighter because the pop singer only eats cold cuts, veggies, and plenty of fruits, whereas for dinner she usually has chicken or fish with rice and more vegetables.
Like most teenager girls, Nicole Scherzinger was influenced by the media stereotypes, which is why she wanted to be very slim when she was only 14. She started jogging and counting calories, but her obsession with weight grew stronger with the passing of the years. According to her declarations, Nicole would constantly check her weight by the time she entered the Pussycat Dolls. And that’s not all; she was already familiar with the most efficient diets.
The sexy singer has successfully gone over that period of her life and now she is really satisfied with the shape of her body. In her opinion, it is important to learn to accept yourself irrespective of the size or the shape of your body. Nicole continues to exercise and to eat healthy, but she doesn’t push herself too hard anymore. She usually exercises harder or practices dance whenever she has to get ready for a video or a concert.
Scherzinger is happy to be a part of the X-Factor jury because she gets along very well with the rest of the team. Based on her statements, the members of the jury complement each other and this is what makes them a perfect mix.
