Nicki Minaj talks about Love

Nicki Minaj has just separated from her boyfriend and it seems that the star is now ready to move on. Nicki talked about love in a recent interview and claimed that she wants a man who can appreciate how much she works.

It has been revealed that Nicki Minaj and her boyfriend Safaree Samuels broke up after a long lasting relationship. Nicki did not confirm the split, but the fact that the two are no longer a couple became quite obvious when the famous singer decided to reveal online certain details regarding their romance. Nicki was the first to share a message on her Twitter.

“Even when I try to protect ppl, they still try to take advantage of me. Haven’t u learned that God is in control? Stop while you’re ahead,” her message said. In her next posts, the singer revealed that she encouraged her boyfriend to start his own career in music. “Wanted fame. I gave u my blessing. I still love. I still love. I still love. I’ll always love. So disappointed.” Nicki also added that she protected her lover for years, being always loyal to him.

As imagined, Safaree Samuels decided to respond to Nicki, saying that “im doing interviews about my s–t and s–t im promoting.. not 1 thing said im doing interviews about nicki. yall sound ridiculous.” Samuels also revealed that he is quite disappointed that his former girlfriend decided to take Twitter to share her feelings, in front of the whole world.

It seems that Safaree Samuels would have preferred to keep everything private between him and Nicki. He wrote that it actually is ridiculous that Nicki did not call him to tell him everything that is on her mind, but she went to share it all on Twitter.

It seems that Nicki Minaj was extremely hurt by the separation from her longtime boyfriend. The beautiful star claimed that he is “somebody I grew up with. Like, I don’t even know how I’m going to function without that person in my life. I never lived my life as a famous person without him. I don’t think people realize it’s not just a breakup, that was a humongous part of my life.”
