It seems that things are not working very well for famous actress Natalie Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied. According to the latest rumors, the pair might be getting a divorce. The rumor emerged after Natalie was spotted in London without her wedding ring.
Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have been married for about four years now. The pair wedded in August 2012 in a very intimate Jewish ceremony. The wedding was held in Big Sur, California. Well, Natalie and Benjamin have not addressed the divorce rumors, thus this means that the claims are yet to be confirmed.
The report on the duo’s possible divorce first emerged at the beginning of the month. Then, Star magazine claimed that Natalie was seen at Chiltern Firehouse without her wedding ring. “Remember, remember when Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied were young and in love? That may not be the case anymore,” Star reported. An insider talking to the magazine claimed that although Natalie tried to enjoy her time out, she really seemed to be very distracted.
“She was trying to have a good time, but it seemed like her mind was somewhere else. She kept rubbing her empty ring finger. She looked really sad,” the source said. When it comes to the reason of the separation, the insider revealed that the relationship ended because of their careers. “Their lives have been completely uprooted, and their relationship has taken a hit.” This “hit” that the insider was referring to seems to be the fact that Benjamin decided to leave his position at the Paris Opera Ballet.
Besides these recent rumors, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied seemed to be doing quite well. The two have been trying to spend as much time together as possible and they have been living together in London while Natalie has been working at her latest movie, Annihilation.
While the famous couple has not commented on the rumors, Gossip Cop came to dismiss the claims. The celebrity site indicated that it talked to an insider who said that the two stars are happy together and there are no issues in their marriage.
