It is a pity that with all these gaming laptops and desktops, we don’t find many all-in-one desktops on the market. Like the Apple’s iMac, they come with a built-in big-screen display, a space-saving design, a desktop-sized keyboard, a mouse and an adjustable kickstand. Today, all the attention is on the MSI AG270. This all-in-one desktop combines all the best qualities of a gaming desktop and a gaming laptop, behind a 27-inch monitor.
It is true, 2,699 dollars doesn’t sound as being an affordable price, but it features all the high-end configurations behind a 27-inch 1,920×1,800 touchscreen. This gaming system comes with a 2.5GHz Intel Core i7-4870HQ, with 16GB DDR3, an incredible 8GB NVidia GeForce GTX 980M Graphic Card, a high-end 2TB hard drive, 256 SSD and a Blu-ray burner.
MSI AG270 doesn’t try to look like many other all-in-one PCs, thin and with a high-end design. This gaming system is not at all thin, featuring a bulky design with a clear plastic kickstand. The entire bottom edge of the system lies on the desk, but it can also be mounted on the wall, due to its standard VESA mount screws on the back. It has a black body framed by red on the front, including a dragon-like MSI logo in the middle and a set large of speakers into the base. To be mentioned that HP also turned to red on its all-in-one route with its Beats Edition Envy 23xt computer.
On the left edge of the computer are located the menu controls of the display, but also the connector for the large external power brick and a couple of USB ports. On the right edge a sideways loading optical drive can be found and on the back panel are all the rest of the connections and ports. MSI AG270 includes a good set of connections and ports, such as HDMI-In, several USB ports and one standard 1/8-onch audio out jack.
MSI AG270 is an interesting all-in-one gaming system that can run current games at high detail levels without any problems.
