The new Moto X Pure Edition is also known as Style and is one of the most appreciated phones at the moment. One of the best things about this device is that it comes unlocked and customers can buy it directly from Motorola. Moreover, the new Moto X Pure comes at a reasonable price and it is designed to work on all major wireless carriers.
This is one of the big steps that Motorola has taken, because most of these unlocked devices can work the most on two carriers. However, the new device seems to be following the previous 2014 model and comes with the same customization options, meaning that customers could choose between different trim colors, but also the material of the backing.
To be mentioned that this phone has a larger design, meaning that it may not be so comfortable to users who have smaller hands. However, they can use it with both hands, which is not such a great effort. Moreover, the phone’s battery doesn’t stand out pretty much and the camera wasn’t massively updated. Another minus is Motorola’s Moto service, because it doesn’t have anything substantially new.
Comparing it with a top larger-screen device, like the new Galaxy Note 5, this device is not near as good as the Note 5, but to be added that the price is much lower. The previous Moto X was one of the most appreciated budget flagship phones, but unfortunately, the new Moto X Pure cannot be consider this way.
Motorola’s Moto X Pure can be found at the starting price of 400 dollars unlocked, meaning that it costs 100 dollars less compared with last year’s starting price. To be added that the price will increase depending on the certain design options and the storage capacity.
However, the new phone has a lower clock speed processor compared with the previous model, from 2.5 to 1.8GHz. This means that the new Moto X Pure comes with a 1.8GHz 6-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, 3GB of RAM, 3,000mAh nonremovable battery, 600MHz Adreno 418 graphics processing unit and 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.
