On the other hand, Modern Family has been the star when it comes to comedy. The famous television series received the award for best comedy series. Ty Burrell was the winner of an Emmy for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series. Julianna Margulies won best actress in a drama series for the role in The Good Wife.
Once again, Jim Parsons won an award. Naturally, the star of The Big Bang Theory got the award for lead actor in a comedy series. This is the fourth time when Jim wins an Emmy award. Along with Modern Family, the Big Bang Theory currently is one of the most popular television series at the moment. So, there is no wonder that the actors of the Big Bang Theory managed to get some impressive salaries, which reportedly are $1 million per episode.
