Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend East Anderson might decide to postpone their wedding. According to a new report, the two stars will delay their nuptials until next year because Miranda has to focus on her career. The rumors initially claimed that the two planned on getting married by the end of this year.
So, a report from Life & Style indicated that Miranda Lambert and East Anderson will have to wait a couple of months until they will get married. Although initially they planned on holding their wedding this year, now it seems that they have no option but to postpone it because Miranda has to prepare her new album and her tour. This means that the star has to put her personal plans on hold to be able to focus on her singing career.
One source told the celebrity site that Miranda and East wanted to marry in Nashville. “She and Anderson were shooting for an end-of-the-year wedding in Nashville and were working hard on the preparations,” the source explained. “But juggling the wedding while planning the tour and promoting the album just became too much for Miranda. She had to put it off.”
The source also said that East Anderson is very supportive with his girlfriend and he is actually the one who told Miranda that she should slow things down, as it would be too much for her to plan the wedding and launch a new album. “Anderson was the first to tell Miranda she was taking on too much with the wedding, a new album and a huge tour,” the source said. “They’re waiting for a less hectic time… [It’s] likely they’ll push the nuptials back until next summer.”
If the rumors turn out to be true, this is actually the second wedding for Miranda. The star has earlier this year divorced from her former husband, Blake Shelton. The exact reason why the marriage ended has not been confirmed, but of course a lot of speculation has been made. Blake has also moved on, sources saying that he is planning his wedding as well. The country music singer is dating Gwen Stefani.
