Microsoft is the second Most Valuable Brand in the World

After years of struggle to reinvent itself, Microsoft has finally managed to regain its status as one of the biggest tech companies in the world. Analysts claim that this impressive success is owed to the new CEO of the company, Satya Nadella.

Nadella became the CEO of Microsoft back in February. Since the first moment, Nadella has tried to make Microsoft more focused on productivity and it seems that despite the critics, he has managed to achieve his purpose. He came with more engineering and organizational changes in the company and started to prioritize the mobile products it released. Nadella also came with certain solutions to cut the costs of the famous company and invest more in the development of new products.

It has been revealed that Microsoft’s market value has been estimated to more than $140 billion, on Friday. However, the famous company has much more work ahead to overcome the success of Apple. So, Apple is the most valuable brand in the world nowadays. The brand is valued at about $668 billion. Analysts say that on the third place is now Google.

Naturally, it seems that technology still dominates the market. Another extremely valuable brand is Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola remains the leading brand when it comes to beverages industry, while McDonald’s is the leader on food industry.

So, Microsoft has recovered, but there are some sectors of its business on which the famous company still has a lot of work to do. For instance, the Windows Phone mobile operating system. This is an area of the market on which Microsoft has failed to achieve success. It is yet to see what Nadella is going to figure out to make Microsoft’s presence felt on this market, too.

Naturally, this lack of success is also explained by the fact that the competition on this area of the market is spectacular. Apple’s devices, as well as Samsung’s products, are the most popular at the moment, bringing amazing features in a spectacular design. Having these facts under consideration, there is no wonder that Microsoft meets difficulties in making an important presence.
