Reuters announced on Monday that Madonna plans to release a new single from her upcoming album “MDNA” on February 3. The song, called “Give Me All Your Luvin”, will be made available on the Internet two days before the singer will perform at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Madonna took a long break from her music career to focus on directing her new movie “W.E.” (what’s up with all these acronyms, I wonder). This year, however, she is determined to give fans another reason to lover her: the new album “MDNA”. The first single was produced by Martin Solveig and Michael Tordjman and it features Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.
The last album produced by Madonna was in 2008, “Hard Candy” which debuted at the top of the charts in 37 countries. “MDNA” was created with the help of Universal Music Group’s Interscope Records and it is the artist’s 12th track collection. The release date that was communicated by the singer’s reps is March 26.
As you probably know by now, Madonna likes to surprise her fans and to make them wish for more. Consequently, a small excerpt of the new video will first air on U.S. television show “American Idol” on February 2. The full version of the video and the song will be uploaded on Madonna’s YouTube channel on February 3.
Madonna reunited with William Orbit to co-write and co-produce several cuts on the new album. MDNA was partially recorded in Los Angeles and partially in New York. Fans are now trying to decipher what the name of the new album stands for. The best option they have found so far is that the title represents, in fact, the singer’s name without the vowels. We prefer to wait for the artist’s official declaration before making any further comments.
Madonna was chosen to headline Sunday’s halftime show at the Super Bowl. The Indianapolis performance was organized by Cirque Du Soleil and it is one of the most-watched events of the year.
