Based on a recent report published by Washington Post, the “Lost” star, Matthew Fox was arrested for drinking under the influence on Friday morning. The actor was leaving a fast-food in Bend, Oregano when police officers pulled him over and took him into custody.
Even though he was a hero on ABC’s series, “Lost”, Matthew Fox seems to have increasingly more legal problem in real-life. The actor was recently arrested after police officers pulled him over on Friday morning and noticed that he was under the influence of hallucinogenic substances.
According to police officers’ report, Fox was with another person in the car. The two were on a fast-food run in Oregano when authorities stopped him at the intersection of NW 14th St. and NW Jacksonville Avenue. The actor failed to drive within the correct lane and did not use the signal while changing lanes. In addition, he had a very strange behavior which determined police officers to withhold Fox and take him to the Deschutes County Adult Jail.
The “Party of Five” star was released the same day. Despite this, his problems haven’t been solved yet. In fact, the situation could get a lot worse in the future as Fox’s case has been forwarded to the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office.
Neither Matthew Fox, nor his legal representatives have made any comments in relation to the event. Authorities have recommended reporters to talk with the reps of the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office if they want to get more details on the case.
This is not the first legal problem that Fox has had up until now. Last year, he was accused of getting into an altercation with a bus driver because the woman refused to let him get into a bus hosting a private party. The woman claimed that the 45-year-old actor punched her and requested compensation for her physical injuries through a civil suit. Matthew Fox responded to her allegations with a countersuit seeking a jury trial.
