Actress Lindsay Lohan was scheduled to start her 32 hours of community service at the morgue last week and after only two days at her new place of work, she already manages to make a mess…a sweet, cupcake mess. According to ABC News, the blonde Hollywood star bought the morgue staff cupcakes, but they all turned the sweet gesture down, claiming they would not be bribed.
Is Lindsay Lohan trying to make her life at the morgue more bearable? Since she has to spend 32 hours in one of the least desired places in a community, she may have thought she may as well brighten things up. So, yesterday, she ordered cupcakes for all the staff members. 36 mouthwatering cupcakes were ordered from the famous Magnolia Bakery. But when the delivery man showed up, the officials turned him away, as the policy states that “community service workers are not there to accept food”.
But the story told by the morgue reps does not match the one told to the media by Lohan’s representative. Steve Honig explained the incident in a whole other light. He said that the actress “bought everyone lunch”. When asked about the cupcakes, he said that he had no comment on the matter.
Lindsay Lohan, 25, was given 32 hours of community service by L.A. Superior Court Judge Stephanie Saunter on Wednesday. The same day, her probation in the shoplifting case was revoked. The judge ordered her to complete the 32 hours of service by Nov. 2. She was supposed to start on Thursday, but she missed work on that first day as, according to her rep, she could not find the entrance door to the morgue.
