Although they really seemed to be a happy couple, it seems that things were not going that well between Lindsay Lohan and Egor Tarabasov. Lindsay has just confessed that Egor has been abusive towards her throughout their relationship.
Well, although Lindsay revealed that things have not been perfect between her and Egor, the star claimed that she still hoped that she and her Russian boyfriend could reconcile. Lindsay also talked about the big fight she and Egor got involved in and which was actually caught on camera. Lindsay made these revelations during an interview with The Mail.
“Egor and I had been out for dinner. We danced, it was fun,” she said. “When we got home I went to bed and Egor went out. A few hours later he came back and when I woke up he was standing over me. He wasn’t himself, he was being very aggressive and he attacked me,” the actress confessed.
“It’s not the first time. I wanted to do this interview because it’s time to tell the truth,” Lindsay went on to explain. “There have been so many lies printed about me recently. I’ve kept quiet for so long but now I’m scared of what Egor might do to me and to himself.”
When it comes to the fight with Egor which was photographed some time ago, it all happened when Lindsay celebrated her 30th birthday. She and Egor fought for his phone and the star’s Russian boyfriend was seen wrestling Lindsay and appearing quite aggressive. The incident occurred in Greece. Lindsay said of that moment that her boyfriend just “drank too much and he went crazy.”
Lindsay said that she and Egor have not seen each other since their last big fight. However, the star confessed that she is not going to take off her engagement ring. “The truth is, I wanted to make things work, but now I’m not sure that I can,” she revealed. “I realise now you can’t stay in a relationship just for love. No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry,” the star confessed. Lindsay concluded that she really loves Egor and she really tried to make things work.
