Lil Wayne Doing Well After Emergency Landing

Lil Wayne’s fans can rest assured that the famous musician is doing well now. So, the star is in stable condition, after suffering “two minor seizures.” Lil Wayne’s medical condition actually caused his private jet to make an emergency landing.

So, the star’s jet made a landing at an Omaha airport and Lil Wayne was transported to the hospital. Some reports claimed that initially the rapper refused medical treatment. So, the plane landed after the rapper suffered the first seizure. Medical staff came aboard the airplane to offer Lil Wayne help, but the star refused hospitalization.

Since the rapper did not want to go to the hospital, his plane started preparations for landing. However, when the plane was in the air for a few minutes, Lil Wayne suffered the second seizure and the plane’s staff called for emergency services. This led to a second emergency landing in Omaha.

The rapper was eventually transported to the hospital. Apparently, the star was admitted at the CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center. The rapper underwent treatment in the emergency room and was kept in the hospital by the medical staff overnight.

Exactly what caused the seizures at this point remains unknown, but they might be linked to the fact that Lil Wayne suffers from epilepsy. The rapper previously confessed during an interview that he had been diagnosed with epilepsy as a child, while one of the symptoms of this disease is actually seizures. Lil Wayne also previously said that he quit drinking lean because of his seizures.

As imagined, this is not the first incident of this kind. The same happened back in 2012, when Lil Wayne’s private jet had to make emergency landings two days in a raw, as the star suffered some seizures. He was also reported to have suffered a severe seizure in 2013, which has actually been nearly fatal for the star.

The rapper has not publicly commented on the reports. However, his rep said that he was stable, so fans have nothing to worry about. “We can confirm that he did experience two minor seizures yesterday. Under the guidance of his own doctors, he is now in stable condition and good spirits,” the rep said according to E! News. “He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers, and well wishes.”
