Now this laptop is probably really close to perfect. It has an incredible design which makes is probably the laptop of the year. Lenovo has changed the iconic 360-degree-fold-back Yoga with a thin strip of watchband-like metal, allowing it to be more flexible and to be especially thin for transforming it into a tablet. Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is very light and thin, and holding it into your hands will feel more different than other slim 13-inch laptops.
Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro has a new Intel Core M chip, which makes it probably 16 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter than its predecessor. Using this lower-powered chip, the battery life should last longer. Lenovo has promised a seven hours durability for casual battery usage, but if you are playing videos it seems like it will not last more than six hours. However, this laptop’s performance is good enough for everyday use, but not the kind of multitasking performance that we expect from a 1.200 dollars laptop. If we leave behind the battery life numbers or the application performance, Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is an incredible device.
Yoga 3 comes with a 13.3inch, 3,200 x 1,800 IPS panel touchscreen, 1.1GHz Intel 5y70 processor, 8GB of Ram and two version models of 256GB SSD and 512GB of space. On the audio front, Lenovo has decided for a different brand of speakers, and that brand is JBL. If you will use it for Web browsers, streaming music and video, or working on office documents, this laptop is great. But if you are looking for a device that will do advanced tasks, such as HD video editing, gaming or other things, you will need more powerful PCs.
The keyboard is the best part of Lenovo, so they managed to retain this advantage to Yoga 3 Pro. However, to make the system as thin as it is, they need to compromise a little. The keyboard is a little smaller, but they managed to fit a backlight in behind and that is a very welcomed feature. Lenovo Yoga 3 is an incredible device, no matter if you use it as a laptop or as a tablet.
