Lenovo released the new Tab 2 A8

The new Lenovo Tab 2 A8 is a budget-tablet that was designed to satisfy simple needs, like checking emails, surfing the WEB or accessing Facebook. For people who don’t want to spend more than a couple of dollars on a decent tablet, Lenovo Tab 2 A8 is the perfect device.

This tablet comes with an 8-inch screen and a design that is a little bit chunky. As for its configuration, probably that if we lived back in 2013, it would have been impressive. However, not any customer needs impressive specs or the latest components on a tablet.

Lenovo Tab 2 A8 is a decent choice for an all-day use. As a budget tablet, Lenovo Tab 2 A8 is available at the price of 129 dollars.

Its price is more than affordable and every person could buy this tablet. As for design, Lenovo Tab 2 A8 looks pretty much like a budget device and it feels a little heavy. On a market where every company is trying to release the lightest and the thinnest tablet, Lenovo’s tablet is not impressive. However, it feels comfortable in hand featuring a blue plastic back panel with matte finish that feels pretty good and it’s not a fingertip target.

Users will find on the top edge a headphone jack and Micro-USB port, while on the top-left corner, the microSD card slot. The power button and the volume rocker are located on the right. The front of the device is bordered with thick bezels and a front-facing camera is located at the top. On the very end of each edge, there is a speaker. Even if the bezels are not very fashionable, users will be able to keep the fingers out of the way of the display.

Lenovo Tab 2 A8 comes with a pure version of Android Lollipop 5.0 and features some of Lenovo’s preload apps. Yes, this tablet has Lenovo’s browser, calendar app and contacts, but also Sharelt and Synclt apps. Sharelt allows users to share documents with another PC, phone or tablet, while Synclt allows them to sync contacts. Lenovo Tab 2 A8 comes with a 1.3Ghz quad-core Mediatek MT8161 CU, 16GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. Moreover, this tablet has microSD card slot that allows users to expand the memory up to 32GB.
