Lenovo has released Yoga 3 14

This year Lenovo launched an impressive model, called Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. This model features an extraordinary design, with a watchband-line single hinge constructed with approximately 800 individual pieces of steel and aluminum.

The laptop also has a fanless chassis measuring 12.8mm thick. Now, Lenovo launched another model, called Yoga 3 14, which looks like Yoga 3 Pro, but it doesn’t have the same features and same pieces built-in.

The new Lenovo Yoga 3 14 comes with a similar design, featuring a standard thin-and-light clamshell. However, instead of having 800 individual pieces, it has only two hinges that allow the user to rotate the screen 360 degrees back, turning into a tablet. What’s new on this model is the 14-inch screen size, compared with the previous version that has a 13.3-inch display.

To be mentioned that Lenovo Yoga 3 14 comes with a fifth-gen Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor, also known as Broadwell, instead of the Intel Core M processor that clients can find in the Pro version. Using a fifth-gen Intel Core, Yoga 3 14, comes with an impressive battery life and a price that is sub-1000 dollars.

Clients who are in search for a laptop like this must know that the configuration starts at approximately 799 dollars. However, for those who can afford to spend more money, they can opt for the 1,049 dollars version, which comes with a 2.4GHz Intel Core i7-5500U, 8GB of memory and 256GB SSD. Also, the new Lenovo Yoga 3 14 comes packed with a 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT 940M graphics card.

This laptop has a great design, but isn’t as light, thin or as stylish as the famous Yoga 3 Pro. Yoga 3 14 comes at 18.33mm and 1.7kg, meaning that is pretty comfortable and can still be portable. The screen is not very impressive, coming with a 1,920×1,080-pixel resolution that keeps text and graphics looking sharp. Unfortunately, the display doesn’t get very bright. However, it wouldn’t be so bad if the screen handled glare well, but sadly it doesn’t. The keyboard is pretty nice, users can type well and it is very spacious.
