Two months after LeAnn Rimes announced her decision to enter rehab, the singer returned to the hospital, this time to treat a massive infection. The 30-year-old star was very disappointed that she had to cancel her show in Wendover, but promised to reschedule the performance as soon as possible, Us Weekly announces.
LeAnn Rimes had a difficult year start as she was involved in many media conflicts due to rumors concerning her anorexic look. In August she announced that she will enter rehab for an undetermined period of time in order to deal with stress and anxiety. Just when everyone thought the singer overcame her personal problems, she announced on Saturday that she had to return to the hospital to treat a massive dental infection.
Rimes was supposed to kick off her tour with a concert in Wendover on Saturday night, but she was feeling very sick before the flight, so she had to cancel the show. She tweeted her followers explaining what had happened and promised them that she will reschedule the performance as soon as she gets better. The artist emphasized the fact that the Wendover performance was a “rescheduled, not a canceled show”.
LeAnn kept her fans up to date with the most recent events with the help of her Twitter account. She explained them that she felt as if her right side of the face had been hit with a baseball bat. On Sunday, she stated that being at the ER at 3 o’clock in the morning was an interesting experience. She gladly announced fans that she was feeling better and confessed dental issues had been bothering her for almost 10 months. The interpreter was confident that she would get better in a brief period of time because her doctor was taking good care of her. In fact, the ER doc is her husband’s best friend.
LeAnn Rimes has taken part in several shows for charity since she was released from rehab. She was glad she could help raise money for the Autry Museum and for the cats and dogs at the Living Free organization.
