From the looks of it Kristin Chenoweth had a pretty bad day at work this Wednesday. The CBS drama star was involved in an accident on the set of “The Good Wife”. Kristin Chenoweth had to be taken to the hospital after she was knocked out by lighting equipment.
The 43-year-old was taken with the ambulance to the hospital after some lighting equipment fell and knocked her out. It looks like “The Good Wife” drama has a drama of its own. A witness told TMZ.com the accident look pretty serious. The witness explained Chenoweth looked “knocked out cold” after a square hit her in the head. “I thought she was dead at first” said the source.
Another insider said someone on the set made a 911 call at 5:07 PM ET and announced a woman was injured by a scaffold that fell in her head. In a statement to TMZ, the insider said the wind was what moved the lighting equipment might from its place. “That area is a vortex for wind…and a big gust of wind blew the lighting off the scaffolding” said the insider.
The studio explained the accident happened “while filming a scene for ‘The Good Wife’ in Brooklyn”. They added “a gust of wind blew a lighting silk out of place striking actress Kristin Chenoweth”. But the studio’s side of the story seems a bit farfetched. How could have a cloth hit someone so badly in the head an ambulance had to be rushed to the set?
“All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery” reads the statement. Anybody wonder whether it’s the case of foul play involved? In the end, there have been infinite pun jokes in movies and TV shows or even cartoons involving stars knocked out by lighting equipment.
Kristin Chenoweth’s publicist has yet to come forward and give a statement about the actress’s condition. Thanks to an FDNY spokesman who talked with The Daily News reporters, we know that Kristen Chenoweth was admitted to the Bellevue Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.
