The Kardashian-Jenner family has definitely been through a lot of changes and through a lot of events in the past few years. Of course, one of these events has been the transition of Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn Jenner. While the change has been easy for some members of the Kardashian family, we cannot say the same thing about everyone.
Khloe has recently decided to open up about losing her step-father Bruce. The star claimed that losing her second father was a “huge blow” for her. The statement was made during the latest episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians. Khloe, who has become quite well known for her honesty, claimed that she was very sad when her step-father announced his transition back in 2015.
Actually, Khloe told this to Caitlyn, after Caitlyn asked her about their lack of communication. “I just really feel like over the last year and a half we certainly have grown apart,” Caitlyn said. She added that the lack of communication made her wonder about a lot of things. “‘OK, is it because I transitioned? They don’t like me anymore?’ I want to know what I did wrong, what I didn’t do wrong, what I did right and move forward,” Caitlyn said.
Khloe answered the question, but maybe it wasn’t what Caitlyn expected. “I don’t necessarily want to say you did anything wrong ’cause I don’t know if just because you didn’t do something the way maybe I would have preferred that makes it wrong,” Khloe explained. The star went on to say that she “wasn’t at a place in my life where I really could invest in new relationships or even something that’s this heavy.”
Caitlyn seemed quite affected and claimed that she invested 23 years of her life in this family. The star also claimed that she knows that Khloe was dealing with a lot when she began transitioning. However, Khloe was quite certain of her message.
“For me, you’re all I remember, Bruce was. So not having you in my life, it’s a huge blow because I’m like OK, my second dad, this guy that I’ve grown up with, that raised me, was taken away from me, but no one really let me have that,” she said.
