Us Weekly reports that Khloe Kardashian Odom could be the new host of the “X Factor” show. The information was provided by a close source claiming that the producer of the show, Simon Cowell is in talks with many other celebrities including the Kardashian sister.
Simon Cowell thinks it is best to make some changes in the show, more specifically, he plans to return to the original concept of having one female host and one male host on the broadcast. The modification will be enacted at the beginning of the upcoming season, according to the source. Despite this, Cowell hasn’t decided which celebrity he should choose for the part of the female host.
The British executive has many options to consider, but he will choose the star that is more appropriate for the show. As a consequence, he will negotiate with some of the stars he has in mind in the following period and will communicate his decision at the beginning of the new season. The sources further added that the producer is not rushing to make a choice as they can do auditions with only one host.
Khloe Kardashian Odom is rumored to be at the top of Cowell’s list; however, the television personality denied all speculations. He has only met with George Clooney‘s girlfriend Stacy Keibler, but sources were unable to disclose other pieces of information about their meeting. Kelly Osbourne, Mario Lopez, BET’s Terrance J, Erin Andrews and Mike Catherwood are the other celebrities that Simon will discuss with for the role of the female host. The source explained that the “X Factor” boss wants to make sure he chooses the right person because the two-host format did not work the first time.
Nicole Scherzinger and Steve were the first two hosts of the show. The “Killer Love” interpreter was later on, chosen to replace Cheryl Cole from the judging panel and Steve ended up being the only host of the program. Nicole and judge Paula Abdul did not take part in the second series and they were replaced by Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
