Kelsey Grammer reveals major mistake done during the divorce
Actor Kelsey Grammer, who legally split from his ex-wife, Camille in February, reveals on the Piers Morgan Show a major mistake he had done during the divorce, that affected his relationship with his new wife, Kate. He opens up about a break-up he sees as “messy” and the first steps to a new life, and a new love.
Recently, Grammer spoke to Piers Morgan about what he thinks was the major mistake that he did during the divorce. “I was trying to do some noble gesture to make the destruction of the previous marriage go easier somehow”, he said during the appearance on the show. He concluded that that was actually a mistake. “I should have walked home and say ‘We’re done, you finally have everything you wanted. I found a new life’”. He explains that by not doing so, he made his actual wife feel uncertain about their relationship for no real reason.
When Morgan asked him if this was the first time he felt actual love, the said, “yes, there’s no doubt about it.”
Kelsey Grammer had to face some critics regarding his split from his former wife, Camille Grammer, after 13 years of marriage. Just two weeks after finalizing their divorce, on February 10, 2011, the actor married his new love, Kate Walsh. The ceremony was private and took place in New York. In May, the “Frasier” star filed for sole custody of his children, Mason, who is 9, and Jude, who is 3. Up to that moment, he and Camille had shared custody of their kids. None of the two commented about the filing, but sources say Camille was furious. Kelsey’s representative said only that “the filing speaks for itself”.
