Kelly Rowland talks boob job and estranged father
Four years after her breast implants, singer Kelly Rowland reveals to Cosmopolitan magazine that she still loves her boob job. The “Motivation” singer explains that the decision was taken with the maximum awareness and she doesn’t regret her new cleavage at all. She also opens up about her relationship with her estranged father whom she's been apart from for over two decades.
Kelly Rowland is, at 30 years old, a hottie. In the upcoming issue of UK’s Cosmopolitan, which will be available in November, she talks about her decision regarding her bust enhancement, the reasons behind it and the effects it has on her life since October 2007, when it happened. “The decision was 10 years in the making”, Kelly explains, so it is sort of natural for her to talk on the matter. She says that this was something she wanted to do for herself, so she would feel better in her own skin. It had nothing to do with what the men or her career had asked from her. She says she was tired of having “little nuggets for boobs”. But since she has changed her cup size, Kelly says she feels great. “I love them!”
During the interview, Kelly also mentioned that her father left her and her mother when she was just a child and that had an impact on her, as she “really wanted to be daddy’s girl”. She would watch the Cosby Show and wonder why her family isn’t perfect, like the one she was seeing on TV. Now, she reveals that she hasn’t seen her father, Christopher Lovett, in over 20 years. “It's nothing I want a pity party for”, Rowland says. Her father tried to get in touch with her in June of this year and the two are slowly reconnecting. Although she doesn’t agree with the way he thought of reaching her [through a tabloid], she says that she forgave him a long time ago for everything and is willing to work on their relationship.
