It’s probably every girl’s dream to have a Barbie doll that looks just like her. Or, these days, it is actually a celebrity’s dream to have Barbies made after their image and likeness. But not many celebs get to make their dream a reality. However, it seems it is not the case for the Kardashian sisters. According to Us Weekly, the Kardashian girls are poised to become Barbie dolls. Would you get one for your daughter?
Basically, right now the Kardashians are everywhere. From starting Twitter frenzies to making the headlines each day, these girls enjoy a moment in celebrity life when the whole world seems to be spinning around them. They are in the spotlight and both them as well as investors know that.
Their reality show and the name itself are a significant source of revenue, so it only makes sense to take this to another level, and make sure the younger generations know about the Kardashian family.
According to Us Weekly, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are poised to become Barbie dolls. The magazine writes: “A source tells the new Us Weekly, on stands Friday, that the reality stars will be immortalized as Barbie’s pals in an upcoming limited-edition doll line”.
Perhaps this explains why Kim kept sending Barbie tweets, making everybody curious what is she talking about. Bad mouths were even saying that she might lose the grip on reality as she tweeted:”Merry Christmas Barbs! I’m sure we’ll be seeing lots of each other. Shopping soon!”.
The source told Us Weekly that the actual “will reflect the girls’ measurements and may even come in Kardashian-designed outfits”. Well, that’s a doll to buy your little daughter. And maybe, instead of Ken, designers will develop a Chris Humphrey Barbie Man.
Another publication, E! News states that the Kardashian Barbies are currently being developed but they will be available for purchase later this year. E! News writes that the limited edition of Barbies is unofficially being referred to as Dash Dolls.
E! News tried to get a reaction from Mattel, the Barbie producer, but the toy manufacturer only issued this statement: “we do not comment on product rumors”.
