Johnny Depp and Amber Heard File for Divorce

It seems that another celebrity couple has decided to put an end to their marriage. Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have announced their divorce. And the whole story is filled with scandal. So, although at first it seemed to be a simple divorce filing that was going to end the union between Amber and Johnny, now some shocking allegations have emerged.

Amber Heard filed the divorce papers on May 23. She cited as the reason of the separation irreconcilable differences and asked for spousal support from her husband. However, she then filed some new papers in court on Friday and said that she was abused by her estranged husband throughout their 15-month marriage.

After the initial divorce filing, Johnny Depp filed a court request to ask the judge to deny Amber’s claims of spousal support. The actor seems to be going through some very difficult moments, as it has also been revealed that the famous Hollywood star’s mother has passed away.

“Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life,” a rep for the famous actor stated. “Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly,” he added.

And the story goes on with Amber filing a domestic violence restraining order against the actor. The star claimed that her husband physically and verbally abused her throughout the entire time they have been together. The two have been a couple for about four years. Amber claimed that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor actually has a problem with substance abuse.

During her latest court appearance, Amber Heard had a visible bruise on her face. She claimed that the actor hit her in the eye with a cell phone. “Johnny has a long-held and widely-acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse,” Amber stated. “He has a short fuse. He is often paranoid and his temper is extremely scary for me as it has proven many times to be physically dangerous and/or life-threatening to me,” she added.

A judge granted a temporary restraining order against the actor, but how this case will end is something that remains to be discovered.
