Jessica Simpson decided to share her first impressions on being a mom with her Twitter fans. The singer wrote on Tuesday that she loves spending time with her newborn baby girl, Maxwell, and that there is a very strong connection between the two, says Us Weekly.
Jessica Simpson has always wanted to be a mother; that is why she was over the moon when she found out that she was pregnant. The 31-year-old singer always kept her fans up to date with everything that was going on during her pregnancy; thus, Simpson proudly showed her baby bump in several magazine pictorials until she finally gave birth to baby girl Maxwell.
As a matter of fact, the great news was also shared with the help of the social network. A week ago, the singer wrote on her personal page that her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson was born on May 1, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The baby was very healthy and big at the time of the birth weighing 9 lbs. and 13 oz.
New things happened since then and Simpson wanted to share her feelings with her 5 million-plus Twitter followers. The “Fashion Star” mentor is crazily in love with her child and she thinks motherhood is the best thing that ever happened to her. She confessed that she cries tears of joy every time she looks at the baby or plays with her.
Sources stated that the singer has proven to be endowed with very powerful maternal instincts. She first noticed that she is capable of doing things that she never thought she would while she was recuperating in hospital after Maxwell’s arrival.
Fiancé, Eric Johnson, is equally proud to be a father, but he still has to get used to some of his paternal duties. Simpson declared in a recent interview that Eric doesn’t like taking care of diaper duties, but he, nevertheless, fulfills his tasks. The singer is now preoccupied with finding a good method of getting rid of the baby weight and she is said to have spent $4 million on a special regime.
